At Transfix, I currently lead Product Design for both the Carrier team and Shipper team within our SaaS group. Before I joined the SaaS team, I worked on solving complex problems for trucking companies while driving results for our core business, the Transfix freight marketplace. I learned how to make well-informed decisions quickly, build consensus among many teams and stakeholders, and create intuitive products for an old-school audience of truck drivers and dispatchers.

Highlights:

• Increased automated bookings by 20x in less than six months by using lean research and design methodologies to improve Transfix’s matchmaking and freight-offering system.

• Led product strategy, customer discovery, and design of a fleet management SaaS product for mid-sized trucking companies.

• Led product strategy and design of Transfix’s new mobile app for truck drivers and dispatchers.

• Partnered with engineers to grow the Transfix Design Pattern Library from a few atomic components to a design system with over 30 patterns and a reputation for delivering high quality, consistent user experiences.

• Facilitated Jobs-To-Be-Done workshops to align our product and engineering organization around a shared understanding of customer needs and a common language for expressing them.
